After an intense qualifying round, the time has finally come: On August 1, the grand finale will take place at the Steil bouldering gym in Karlsruhe. For weeks, climbers have been setting routes, climbing, cursing, cheering, and pushing their limits. Now it’s time to see who will claim the title at the Epic Steil Cup 6.

Weeks Full of Challenges

The qualifiers were no walk in the park: A total of 120 boulders pushed the participants to their limits. Whether technical slabs, powerful roof boulders, or jumps requiring great coordination—the Epic Steil Cup 6 qualifiers offered the right challenge for every climbing style.

The Finals on August 1

Things get serious on August 1. The top six finalists in each category will compete against one another in the two final categories and battle for victory.

The Advanced category kicks things off, followed by the strongest athletes in the Extreme category, who will show what’s possible on the wall. Thrills are guaranteed right up to the last move—spectacular boulders, close calls, and plenty of goosebump-inducing moments included.

Once the final top attempts are complete and the winners have been crowned, it’s far from time to head home. Quite the opposite!

Several DJs will then provide the perfect soundtrack and transform the Karlsruhe bouldering gym into one big party. Together with the community, we’ll celebrate an unforgettable finale—with great music, cold drinks, and plenty of good vibes.
