Today it was hot at Boulderhalle Steil, because today the first 30 boulders for the Epic Steil Cup came to the wall. These are distributed over the two sectors on the slabs in the main gym. In addition, of course, there are many more boulderers that are not included in the scoring, but are no less rewarding to climb.

Variety and challenge:

We made the decision to move two sectors at once because of the past holiday. And it certainly suits you, though again you have a lot more steep (and here also many flat, but steep at heart) boulders to boulder.
Our team for the great joy of plastic today consisted of Jenny, Simone, Jonas, Emanuel, Liam and as an external guest we still invited Sophie.
Sophie usually works in the bouldering gym Petz in Neustadt and brings you fresh wind with new ideas to the walls at home. There are virtually no limits to the variety today.
With the start of the Epic Steil Cup, you now have the opportunity to put your strength and techniques to the test and prepare for the further rounds of the competition. We will continue in the usual rhythm from next Monday. In the following weeks you will find 15 new qualification problems in all difficulty levels. So don’t be afraid to just try what appeals to you and give the unknown a chance. With 150 boulderers in total spread throughout the hall at the end of the Epic Steil Cup qualification round, there’s sure to be something for everyone.
