It is with great pleasure that we announce the start of the qualification round of this year’s Epic Steil Cup. Starting Wednesday, let’s turn Boulderhalle Steil into a true paradise of tinkering together to find solutions for the qualifying boulders in all difficulty levels.

The Epic Steil Cup has become one of the most sought-after bouldering competitions in the region and promises exciting boulders for everyone again this year. Whether you have advanced level experience or you want to push your limits, there is something for everyone to win! But the Epic Steil Cup is not just a competition. It’s an opportunity to strengthen your climbing community and make new friends. It’s important to us that you feel encouraged to participate, regardless of your current level. The competition is a platform to grow, learn and support each other.

You need to know:

In the qualifying round, a total of 30 boulders will be added each week for you to check off on your score card. Our boulder setting experts will create new challenges every week which will be marked separately in each sector. With increasing difficulty more points will be awarded and for a flash you will get one additional point for the respective boulder. 

Please tick your desired category at your own discretion: Advanced or Extreme. We will do two finals this time and want to give as many people as possible the opportunity to feel the adrenaline of climbing a boulder in front of an enthusiastic crowd.

Of course, there is not only fame and glory to be won, but also great prizes from our tombola. Every participant of the qualification round has the chance to take home something special. And of course, the best male and female boulderers will compete in the breathtaking finals in the two categories mentioned above: Advanced and Extreme.
