In summer it can get quite hot in the sun, but our setters didn’t take a break. We at Boulderhalle Steil in Karlsruhe are proud of the fact that there is no heat free period when it comes to new boulders.

Warm, but Steil

In the main gym we have set some new and steep challenges for you directly on the sunny side. Our brave setters have been sweating in the burning heat. But that didn’t stop them from creating the best boulders for you. After all, they may have even set a few extra easy boulders, because they ran out of breath a bit in the high temperatures. No wonder in this heat!

By the way, if we were on the topic of heat: Cooling down is the be-all and end-all. Today, the bar in the bistro offers the delicious unleaded Grape for 1.90 €. With it you can compensate your liquid loss directly and the whole tastes even better than water. If that does not suit you, we have of course all other refreshing drinks for you.

Boulders to melt away

But we warn you: Though if you make it to the sunny side in the heat, there’s no heat free for you either! So pack your climbing shoes, your chalk bag and your thirst and visit us at Boulderhalle Steil in Karlsruhe. New boulder problems are waiting for you, some of them might be a bit easier due to the heat, but they will be even more fun.
