Olympics go Steil.
Climbing and bouldering at the Olympic Games!
The Olympics go steil and we’re really looking forward to it! The Summer Olympics are just around the corner and we couldn’t be more excited! After their debut in Tokyo 2021, back then together with speed climbing in a wild trinity), our favorite disciplines are now returning in Paris 2024. But this time separately. And who will be there? The finalists you admired at the Bouldering League at Steil bouldering gym will be there, of course!
The climbing elite at the start
We are particularly proud to see two of the bouldering stars, Alex Megos and Yannick Flohé, at this prestigious event. Both have made a name for themselves in the bouldering bouldering league here at Steil and now they get to show what they can do on the biggest stage in the world. But that’s not all! Lucia Dörffel is competing for Team Germany in the women’s competition. Even though Lucia hasn’t climbed with us at the Steil yet, we are delighted that she is competing for Germany and are keeping our fingers crossed for her.
Schedule of the exciting competitions
The climbing competitions start next Monday and reach their climax with the finals on Friday and Saturday. Part of Team Steil will be there live to cheer on our athletes. If you can’t find us at Steil, we’ll either be on site in Paris or glued to the screen so we don’t miss a second.
Stay tuned
Keep up to date via the media and join us in the excitement as Alex, Yannick and Lucia fight for the medals in Paris. The Olympics are going strong and you can follow the results on public TV channels.
Stay strong, stay steep and see you soon in the Steil Karlsruhe bouldering hall!
