In a breathtakingly hot action 20 brand new boulders were set to the walls at Boulderhalle Steil. Regardless of the prevailing heat, all were set by hand and with much love.

Setting against the heat

The temperatures in the gym today were almost unbearable. Sweat ran in streams from the setters’ foreheads as they worked tirelessly on the walls. The air was so hot and humid that you’d think you were on the brink of the equator. As if that wasn’t enough, there was also the sun. It shone relentlessly on the dark mats and heated up the setters even more. But nothing could stop them. They worked with a dedication and passion that was simply admirable.

Despite the heat, they brought one boulder after another to the walls. Each hold was selected and placed with love and care. The setters were true heroes of the day, not giving up even in the greatest heat and mastering their work with flying colors. And so, despite the heat, 20 new, breathtaking boulders were created, which are now waiting to be climbed by the climbers.

The outcome can be appreciated

Nevertheless, the setters have done a great job today to delight you with new boulders. With every new boulder they set on the wall, they also brought a piece of their heart into the hall.

And so today we can be happy about the new boulders that will keep us busy for the next weeks at Boulderhalle Steil in Karlsruhe. Each of them has been made with love from the crew and is waiting to be discovered by you.
